What's included in your ADHD assessment?

Psychological Interview

A 60 to 90-minute structured clinical interview conducted online by a senior PSI-registered psychologist. The psychologist will explore your current symptoms, developmental history, and how ADHD may be impacting your daily life, work, and relationships. Standardised rating scales are completed as part of this session to ensure a thorough and evidence-based evaluation in line with NICE guidelines.

Psychiatric Assessment

Following the psychological interview, you will meet with Consultant Psychiatrist for a focused psychiatric assessment. Your psychiatrist will review the clinical findings, discuss your diagnosis with you directly, rule out any co-occurring conditions, and outline a personalised treatment plan. If medication is clinically appropriate, your psychiatrist will guide you through the available options and next steps.

Diagnosis & Report

Following your assessments, your psychologist and psychiatrist will jointly prepare a comprehensive diagnostic report detailing their clinical findings, formal diagnosis, and a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs. Your report is fully compliant with HSE and NICE standards and is accepted by GPs, employers, universities, and the CAO across Ireland.

Client Testimonials

"The psychiatrist took the time to actually explain the diagnosis properly rather than just handing me a report. Left the session feeling informed and supported rather than overwhelmed. Really appreciated that."
